Flat roofs fail at the details, not in the field

The wide field of a membrane rarely leaks. Seams, drains, curbs and edges do. That is why flat-roof work is detail work, welds tested, corners reinforced, terminations mechanically sound.

Ponding water is the other truth, membranes tolerate it poorly and warranties dislike it. Sometimes the fix is drainage, sometimes tapered insulation, pretending it is fine is not a plan.

Is the inspection really free, what's the catch?+

Really free, no catch: 20 points, drone plus boots on the roof, and a dated photo report you keep. Most inspections end with "you're fine" or a small repair, that honesty is why the big jobs come to us later.

How does the insurance claim work, and do you handle it?+

You open the claim (it must come from you), but we do the heavy lifting: photo documentation, meeting the adjuster on your roof, and building exactly to the approved scope. You pay your deductible, never a mystery number.

How long does a replacement take?+

Most Medford homes: one day, tear-off to cleanup. Bigger or steeper roofs take two. You get a start date in writing, tarps over everything below, and a magnet sweep before we leave.

Which membrane is right?+

Depends on sun, foot traffic and what sits on the roof. Reflective single-ply suits hot exposure, sturdier build-ups suit equipment traffic, we match material to reality.

Can you repair instead of replace?+

Often, if the field is healthy. Localized seam or flashing repairs extend life, a saturated or shattered membrane is past saving.

Why does water stand after rain?+

Some settling is normal within limits. Persistent ponds mean drainage or slope needs attention before the membrane pays the price.
